Animals that have been rescued are extremely sweet. The only thing they’re missing is a chance. They aren’t given enough opportunities to show who they truly are.
The same thing happened to this Pitbull mother. No one could have predicted that she would be that photogenic. She looked like a true Diva in her parental photographs.
This is how the narrative goes. Rescuers discovered Mama Pickles abandoned on the streets. The dog was two years old at the time and very pregnant. Animal Control officers transported the puppy to the shelter and were able to contact her owners. However, the owners told us that we didn’t need Pickles, which was heartbreaking.
The shelter lacked the necessary therapy and attention that a pitbull could require after delivery. Pits & Giggles Rescue, a non-profit group, stepped forward to assist the dog. Pregnant dogs and their puppies are the focus of the organisation.
Lauren Casteen Sykes, a volunteer with Pits & Giggles, states that the organization’s aim is to rescue and care for mothers. They save pregnant or nursing mothers and offer them with the safety and attention they deserve while they nurture their puppies.
Photographing is an important component of their adoption process since it provides them with the visibility they require. Lauren, a photographer, was enlisted to photograph a proud would-be mother in order to capture those priceless moments.
Lauren knew she had to do the maternity photograph as soon as Pickles arrived, and Mama Pickles stole the show with her posing. Lauren described her as looking like a model. Despite the fact that her legs were too short for the catwalk, she enjoyed the attention and care she received. Pickles was giddy with anticipation for the photo shoot.
Pickles’ behaviour was the most enjoyable aspect of the picture; she was wagging her tail and seemed quite happy.
It was time for another photograph after Mama Pickles gave birth to eight puppies. Mama Pickles appeared to be more pleased this time. According to her caregivers, she was a wonderful mother who loved and cared for her children.
Mama Pickles had been used to breed numerous times, and they said this would be her final brood. She and her puppies would be staying at the rescue centre for the time being.
Mama Pickles and her babies deserve a good forever home, and we sincerely hope they do.
